History

Little girls with Dreams, become women with Vision

As a child, our founder and President, Seun Akinlotan , always harbored a dream of making a positive impact in the lives of women. Raised in an all-girls family within a patriarchal society, she witnessed firsthand the mistreatment of women and resolved to champion their cause once she had the capacity to do so. In 2015, she embarked on a journey of mentoring women from diverse backgrounds, imparting thousands with relevant marketplace skills and earning admiration beyond borders.

What began as a personal mission soon evolved into a broader vision—to change the world one woman at a time. In 2017, she initiated the Power Women Experience conference, aiming to bring women together, fostering inspiration and forming lasting connections. Today, the Power Woman Experience Foundation stands as a nonprofit organization with a mission to educate, empower, and elevate powerful women in the Delaware Valley and globally, all in pursuit of personal and professional growth.
